  • Spinach Fact #1 : Spinach is very high in Iron. Unfortunately it is the type of iron that is not easily absorbed by the body. High levels of Vitamin C will help the body absorb the Iron in spinach.
  • Spinach Fact #2 : Spinach is native to Asia and is believed to have been first domesticated in Nepal. It was not until the fifteenth century that spinach was known in Europe.
