How to Freeze Spinach

Spinach is very easy to freeze. Simply cut off any excess stems, wash, pat dry, tear into smaller pieces about one half the original size, place in a freezer bag and freeze. Alternatively, you can use your fresh spinach in a variety of recipes and then freeze for later use.
